Rocket Vault — Account Setup and KYC Verification steps

Step 1: Sign up at Rocket Vault for a new account

A. Navigate to www.rocketvaults.io/app to launch the Rocket Vault app page.

Click on the Register button to create a new account.

B. Enter your email address, enter your One Time Password and accept the Terms and Conditions.

C. Set a password for your account.

Step 2: Initiate KYC / Verification process from the Rocket Vault account page

A Rocket Vault user only needs to go through the KYC/Verification process if he/she wishes to deposit more than $10,000 worth of crypto assets into the Smart Vaults (excluding RVF staked tokens, which don’t count towards this quota).

Note: Citizens/Residents belonging to the list of countries that are not allowed to use Rocket Vault application as per our legal team’s advice. For a complete list of restricted countries, please visit the support article here.

After logging in to your account, in your account page, enter your first and last name and click on the ‘Complete KYC’ button as shown below.

You will be re-directed to the Jumio KYC portal.

Step 3: Follow steps on the Jumio verification portal :

A. Enter Country and ID information

B. Upload/Take photo of identity document

C. Complete face verification (you will need a web camera)

D. Wait for the confirmation page to appear

Post image quality checks, the confirmation page will appear which indicates you’ve completed the verification process. You can close the window and return to the Rocket Vault application.

Step 4: Receive email confirmation on successfully completing the KYC process

Verifications are typically done within minutes (complex cases might take longer). Once verified, you will receive an email notifying you of the same.

Step 5: Log in to your Rocket Vault account to check the KYC confirmation status

Your KYC Status should read ‘Complete’.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully verified your identity and unlocked higher Smart Vault deposit limits.
