What is Avalanche Network (AVAX)?

With its distinctive Proof of Stake (PoS) algorithm, the Avalanche network promises to resolve the blockchain trilemma of scalability, security, and decentralization. With the most validators securing any activity of the proof-of-stake protocol, Avalanche network is the blockchain industry’s quickest smart contracts platform in terms of time-to-finality. Avalanche network is really quick, inexpensive, and green. Any smart contract-enabled application that is deployed on Avalanche will outperform its rivals. Avalanche network, like Ethereum, allows smart contracts to power decentralized applications (dApps). Avalanche network intends to increase blockchain interoperability by integrating a variety of decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems, including popular projects like Aave and Curve. This is because Avalanche’s smart contracts are built in the Solidity language, which is also used by Ethereum.

The Avalanche network is driven by a number of different consensus mechanisms and governed by its native token AVAX. AVAX is used as a method for allocating system incentives, taking part in governance, and facilitating network transactions by charging fees.

What is Avalanche Crypto Bridge?

The Avalanche Bridge by RocketX, will let you easily and effectively move a crypto token from and to the Avalanche network. At the time of writing this, you could move a crypto token to Avalanche network or vice-versa, from other chains like- Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and Polygon. RocketX bridges enable the transfer of any crypto token from one blockchain to another in a single-step, without the need to create any account, directly from your favorite Defi wallet like MetaMask, TrustWallet, Coinbase DeFi wallet, etc.

How do you Bridge Crypto to Avalanche Network?

Using Avalanche bridge by RocketX, you can easily transfer a crypto token straight from your Defi wallet. In the following section, check the step-by-step guide to know how to bridge/transfer an asset to and from the Avalanche network.

Easy Tutorial on How to Use Avalanche Bridge by RocketX:

Here’s also a short video tutorial on bridging ‘To’ and ‘From’ the Avalanche network.

Part 1: How to Bridge ‘To’ Avalanche Network

Step 1: Connect your Defi wallet by clicking on the ‘Connect Wallet’ button.

Step 2: Select the ‘From’ Network and crypto token. In our example, we select the BNB Smart Chain and AVAX crypto token.

Step 3: Select the ‘To’ Network as Avalanche network and ‘To’ crypto token. In our example, it will be AVAX crypto token.

Step 4: Edit the amount of crypto token you want to bridge to the Avalanche network.

Step 5: Check the quote fetched by RocketX and click on the ‘Bridge’ button to execute the transaction.

Part 2: How to Bridge ‘From’ Avalanche Network

Step 1: Connect your Defi wallet by clicking on the ‘Connect Wallet’ button.

Step 2: Select the ‘From’ Network and crypto token. In our example, we select the Avalanche Network and stablecoin USDT/USDC crypto token.

Step 3: Select the ‘To’ Network as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon or BNB Chain and also the ‘To’ crypto token. In our example, we’ll select the Solana Chain and USDT/USDC crypto token, depending on what you selected in Step 2.

Step 4: Edit the amount of crypto token you want to bridge to the Avalanche network.

Step 5: Check the quote fetched by RocketX and click on the ‘Bridge’ button to execute the transaction.

Benefits of Using Avalanche Bridge by RocketX:

There are several benefits of using RocketX’s Avalanche Bridge:

  1. No Account: Bridge or Transfer, directly from your wallet.
  2. Bridge at the best price, low fees and minimum slippage, as RocketX Exchange leverages vast liquidity from CEXs like Binance and upcoming newer CEX integrations with KuCoin, FTX, etc along with DEX integrations to Rubic, Router protocols amongst others.
